He is so Spoiled 2
Chapter 2
In winter, the sky brightens late. Outside the window, the sky is still pale, resembling the belly of a fish. In the living room, faint footsteps can be heard. Su Nuo slowly walks towards the bed while getting dressed, and kneels at the bedside.
The little black dog lies quietly on the bed, covered with a small blanket on its back. Its big eyes are closed, and it makes a soft breathing sound while sleeping, looking particularly soft and cute.
Su Nuo secretly strokes its soft fur and can't help rubbing it a few more times. The warm and soft touch makes him feel good. He bends his eyes in a good mood, thinking that the dog is even cuter when it's asleep, as it doesn't let anyone touch it while it's awake.
He washed the dog after returning from the hospital, blow-dried its fur, and put it back on the bed. Only now did he finally relax. The doctor said the wound was treated well, and there was no fever or inflammation. Other than paying extra attention to its diet recently, there were no other issues.
Su Nuo tucks in the blanket for the dog, puts on his jacket, and leaves the room, looking back three times. The little dog opens its eyes and watches him leave in silence, not knowing what it's thinking.
Even before Su Nuo saved it, this little dog was no longer the same as before. Or, the dog might have already died, and another soul took over its body.
Gu Chen narrows his eyes slightly. Did his soul switch with this dog, or did he accidentally replace a dead dog? The whole situation is strange and he can't make sense of it. Before he closed his eyes, he was in the Gu family, but when he woke up, he became a dog. If he hadn't been saved, his body would probably have gone cold by now.
Gu Chen has always been a light sleeper. The moment he heard the sound of the wind, he was already awake. However, he didn't have the strength to sit up and could only lie on the ground. Before he could even accept the fact that he had turned into a dog, his body had become colder and colder, and his consciousness gradually faded away, slowly waiting for death.
He coldly laughed at himself, and his half-closed eyes reflected a faint light. His pupils were surging with a dark storm that was about to come.
Except for the members of the Gu family, no one in the capital probably didn't hope for his death. As long as he died, everyone would have a chance to compete and fight for the fat piece of meat that was the Gu family. Who wouldn't want a share of the spoils? The jackals, wolves, tigers, and leopards who had been coveting it for a long time had long been eager to take over and reshuffle the deck.
Who would care if he was still himself or just a dog? The members of the Gu family only cared about having a Gu family head who could allow them to continue to live idle lives and bask in the glory of the Gu family.
It was never about Gu Chen himself.
"This week, the first season is about to start airing. Do you think we can still appear on the screen... huh?"
"Who knows? This thing depends purely on luck. If the post-production team makes a mistake and cuts us out, we won't have anywhere to cry. Do you think everyone is like that person with a rich dad willing to spend money to promote them?"
"That's not entirely true. The company still needs to make money. If we have the ability, there will always be opportunities to shine..."

"Suo Nuo, Suo Nuo? Suo - Nuo!"
Just as he was thinking about where to buy some meat and rice porridge for his little dog to supplement its nutrition, a voice interrupted his thoughts.
Suo Nuo followed the direction of the voice and saw Lin Xiatian looking at him with a smile on his face.
"What's wrong with you? You seem restless since leaving the dorm. Did you not sleep well?"
As the words fell, the two people who were originally talking next to Lin Xiatian also looked over. The four of them were originally a group that "Star Entertainment" was preparing to launch, but the company was too small and had no resources, so they were finally pushed into this talent show.
"Yeah, a bit tired." Suo Nuo nodded in response, his smile extremely shallow, looking somewhat indifferent.
Lin Xiatian understood and didn't pay much attention. They had been training together for almost two years, seeing each other every day and spending 360 days together in a year. Suo Nuo had always been aloof and self-contained, and they had grown accustomed to it over time.
"I prepared some mint candy in the practice room, I'll give you some later, it's good for staying awake."
Suo Nuo was about to thank him when a somewhat sharp voice interrupted.
"Didn't Suo Nuo stay for a special interview after recording the show last night? Who wouldn't be in high spirits after something like that? He doesn't need your mint candy."
Suo Nuo looked over and saw Pei Qiran looking at him with a smile that seemed both mocking and challenging.
Suo Nuo silently turned his gaze back to Lin Xiatian, his almond-shaped eyes slightly curved, his tone gentle, "Thank you, I actually need it."
The atmosphere became extremely awkward for a moment, and the air suddenly became as still as if it had frozen.
Not getting a response from Suo Nuo, Pei Qiran's smile couldn't be maintained any longer, his face turning cold as he turned away, muttering disdainfully under his breath, "Don't know which boss he seduced to get that special interview. Sold out and still trying to act high and mighty..."
"Say another word and you'll regret it." The captain couldn't bear to listen to him any longer and spoke up to stop him.
"What's wrong? Did I say something wrong? He's nothing but..." Pei Qiran was unwilling to give up and wanted to say more.
As they spoke, they had already arrived at the studio. A number of people were already there, with employees from various companies huddled together and talking quietly. The staff were busy preparing the set, while those who were familiar with each other greeted each other with laughter and banter.
Pei Qiran had almost said something before he swallowed his words back down. Though he couldn't stand Su Nuo, he wasn't foolish enough to start a scene in front of so many people.
"Oh, Song Jianing is here," the assistant director greeted him with a smile that was neither light nor heavy. The noisy studio fell silent for a moment as Su Nuo looked up to follow the crowd's gaze.
"Oh, Song Jianing is here," said the assistant director with a smile. The once-noisy studio fell silent for a moment, and Su Nuo looked up along with everyone else.
A young man in a gray suit, surrounded by a few others, walked in. His striking silver hair was complemented by bright pink eye makeup, with the eyeliner slightly upturned at the corners, making him especially captivating.
He smiled and nodded in response to those who greeted him, friendly and courteous. But the slight lift of his chin revealed his haughty air of superiority.
This was Song Jianing, the pre-determined protagonist of the program "Tomorrow's Superstar."
Seeing that everyone was flocking over, Su Nuo discreetly stepped back behind the crowd, not wanting to join the commotion.
"Su Nuo," Song Jianing seemed to deliberately seek him out, raising his voice to wave and smile at him.
All eyes turned to Su Nuo, their gazes inquiring, jealous, watching for drama or just for the sake of watching.
Su Nuo stiffened for a moment, stopping in his tracks, but then relaxed and smiled faintly. "Hello."
Song Jianing also stayed put, smiling at him with a smile that held some unknown meaning, making Su Nuo feel uncomfortable. He spoke softly across the crowd, "I was really impressed when I heard you sing 'For Him' in the interview yesterday. If we have a chance, let's have a chat. You wouldn't mind, would you?"
The volume of his voice was not particularly loud, Su Nuo could hear it clearly despite the distance. Obviously, everyone present could hear it too. As soon as the words fell, whispers began to circulate around the crowd. Su Nuo's interview hadn't garnered much attention the previous night, but now, the envy and suspicion in people's eyes when they looked at him had increased.
Su Nuo didn't avert his gaze and politely smiled once again. "I look forward to it."
