He is so Spoiled 1
Chapter 1
On the day when MoMo was found, Su Nuo was filming a program until 4am.
In November, the north had already become cold, with a thin layer of frost forming on the grass. The airflow created by walking dissipated the heat on the cheeks, while the cold wind swept over the ears, causing a slight tingling sensation.
The program had been filming continuously for a week, almost always at this time, and no one had ever complained. Who would dare to object to a hard-won opportunity, even if it was just a supporting role?
The temporary dormitory was a 15-minute walk from the TV station, and the residential area was just across the road.
The sky was turning gray, and there were already a few vehicles on the road in pairs and threes. Dawn was approaching.
Su Nuo tightened his coat and quickened his pace.
"Woo..." A voice suddenly came from somewhere nearby.
The faint whimpering sounded particularly eerie and prominent in the empty night.
Su Nuo slowed down and hesitated, turning his head to look at the roadside. The streetlights didn't reach the grass, so he couldn't see clearly what was there in the darkness.
He hesitated for a moment, then turned his gaze away and didn't look back again.
It was better not to invite trouble.
He decisively turned around, took a step forward, and prepared to leave.
The sound of "woo-woo" came again, gently and softly, in the quiet night, the weak sound was very clear.
This time, Su Nuo heard it clearly. It wasn't a strange sound, but rather a unique sound of a small animal.
It was so soft and tender that it made people's heart ache.
Su Nuo stopped, twisted his feet on the ground for two turns, took a deep breath, turned around, and walked towards the roadside. He walked into the shadow after the streetlight and barely saw the scene in front of him.
There was a pure black puppy lying in the low grass, with a size like a newborn cub, lying crookedly in the mud, eyes closed, and intermittently making unconscious cries.
Su Nuo quickly walked over and squatted down, reaching out to touch it. His right hand unexpectedly touched a cold, sticky, and wet surface.
He was shocked and withdrew his hand, lifting it under his eyes. He couldn't see whether it was mud or something else. It was black in color.
He instinctively leaned forward to smell it with his nose, and before he even got close, a strong rust smell drilled into his nasal cavity.
Blood! It was injured.
Without thinking too much, Su Nuo avoided its injured front paw and carefully held the little dog's back, carrying it in his arms as he ran towards the dormitory. The puppy's body was icy cold and it didn't struggle as it was carried and bounced along, obviously unconscious.
Although Su Nuo ran quickly, he kept his arms stiff and tried to keep the little thing as steady as possible, afraid of jostling it too much. Fortunately, there was a pet hospital just downstairs from the dormitory building.
As he ran along the road, he turned the corner and saw the pet hospital, but to his dismay, he found that the hospital gate was tightly closed and all nearby shops were closed too, with only the roadside streetlights shining brightly.
The hospital was closed!
Breathless and half-bent over at the pet hospital's entrance, the bright white streetlights shining on his face, Su Nuo suddenly became fully alert. It wasn't yet dawn, how could the pet hospital possibly be open 24 hours a day?
The little guy in his arms had already had its blood dry up from its wound, and its small body was almost completely without warmth. It made no sound, and Su Nuo could only feel its faint breathing from the slight movement in his palm.
Su Nuo gritted his teeth, unable to catch his breath, and then turned back to run quickly towards the dormitory, hoping the little dog could make it through the night.
Hopefully it can make it through tonight.
The living room was pitch black and the house was quiet. The team members had already gone to sleep. Su Nuo tiptoed his way to his own room, closed the door, turned on the heater, and pulled out a towel from the cabinet, laying it carefully on the bed. He then gently placed the small puppy onto the towel.
The puppy was still small and curled up in the center of the towel, like a black ball of fur.
Su Nuo brought out a first aid kit and hurriedly went back to get a basin of hot water, which he placed on the floor. He then lifted the puppy, along with the towel, onto his lap and carefully avoided the wound as he lifted its paw.
There was a scratch on its forearm, not long but very deep, as if it had been cut by a sharp tool. The entire right limb was soaked in blood and dried blood and mud covered the entire right side of its body, making it look extremely frightening. Su Nuo's heart tightened.
He couldn't delay any longer. He had to clean the wound and apply medicine around it first. The indoor temperature slowly increased, and the puppy's stiff body warmed up a bit. Its closed eyelids trembled as if it wanted to open them, and Su Nuo breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed that it was about to regain consciousness soon.
The wound was deep and required quite a bit of effort to clean, but luckily, Su Nuo was not a novice. Dancers inevitably have some wounds on their bodies, so he had experience in treating them. It didn't take long to finish the wound treatment.
After wiping the sweat off his forehead and grabbing the bandages for the wound, Su Nuo was thinking about whether to give it a bath when he unintentionally caught sight of a pair of round, black eyes.
Su Nuo let out a surprised "ah" and instinctively raised his hand to touch the head of the small black dog. However, his hand froze in midair, as he was suddenly overwhelmed by a sense of extreme danger, like a prey being watched by a wild beast.
The dog's eyes were filled with endless darkness, like a fierce and bloodthirsty predator lurking in the dark, ready to pounce and tear its prey apart.
Su Nuo placed his hand in front of his chest and slowly blinked his eyes, trying to communicate in a gentle voice, "You... are hurt. I'm not a bad person, I just want to help you with your wound..."
The boy's voice was soft and gentle, his eyes clear and clean, and the emotions of fear and concern in his eyes were easy to see through.
The small black dog squinted its eyes and continued to stare at him, it was unclear whether it understood or not.
Su Nuo slowly picked up a bandage and tentatively touched its leg with the cloth strip.
Unexpectedly, the dog suddenly raised its jaw and gently placed its head on its paw. Its calm demeanor was like that of a lazy leopard looking at a harmless little kitten that hadn't even grown its teeth yet.
After a while, the dog either got tired or had seen enough and closed its eyes, no longer looking at him. Su Nuo suddenly wanted to laugh, feeling like he had understood its meaning, like he had passed some kind of test.
Su Nuo's movements were quick and skillful, his slender fingers deftly bandaging the wound and tying a beautiful butterfly knot. His actions were gentle and meticulous.
Su Nuo finally breathed a sigh of relief, and his lower back softened as he fell back onto the bed with a thud. The sudden relaxation had the consequence of causing all the fatigue and exhaustion from staying up late to flood him in an instant. On top of that, after continuous high-intensity program recordings, he could hardly keep his eyes open as his vision became blurred.
He reluctantly gathered a bit of energy to set an alarm clock, wrapped the small dog in his arms with a blanket, curled his legs and whispered softly, "I'm going to sleep for a while... We'll go see the doctor later."
The program was tight, and Su Nuo had hardly slept for three days. Just as he had finished running, overwhelming drowsiness engulfed him, and he almost fell asleep in a daze as soon as he closed his eyes.
What Su Nuo didn't know was that as he fell asleep, the small dog in his arms opened its eyes once again. Its gaze was piercingly cold, with an indescribably complex and profound expression, as if it were an eternal night that darkness could never penetrate. It was extremely eerie.
