He is so Spoiled 4
Chapter 4
Before the start of the second round of the competition, there was a period of preparation time, which was reserved for the program to count the number of views and clicks.
Su Nuo prepared a bowl of lean pork and pig liver porridge, specially asking the boss to cut the meat into small pieces. He felt happy all the way until he reached the door of his dormitory.
"Are you not feeling well? Why aren't you eating?" Su Nuo pitifully squatted next to the dog's kennel, touching his head with a dejected expression. The full bowl of dog food he poured in this morning remained untouched by nightfall, and the water was not even touched.
Su Nuo pushed the bowl towards the dog with a finger, lost in thought. Was it sick? It was fine during the morning check-up.
The small black dog extended its uninjured paw and gently pushed the bowl back to him.
Su Nuo widened his almond-shaped eyes and said, "Huh?"
The puppy slightly raised its head, its black eyes staring back at him. He couldn't tell if it was just an illusion, but he felt that the dark eyes had lost some of their sharpness and coldness from the previous night. It was not as frightening as before.
Su Nuo suddenly remembered the porridge he had bought for the dog and uncovered the lid, holding it in his hand as he approached the dog this time. He lifted his big face, looking serious as he met the dog's eyes, "If you don't eat, we'll have to go to the doctor."
With a threatening tone, he conveyed his anxiety and worry with his soft voice and slightly furrowed eyebrows.
The puppy's eyes darkened slightly. The originally bottomless eyes became even deeper, and its sharp and calm gaze stared back at him. Su Nuo suddenly remembered the eyes he saw last night, pitch black and seemingly bottomless, even though they were supposed to be big and round, they gave him an inexplicable chill.
Su Nuo shrank his shoulders and his scalp tingled under the dog's stare, but he still persisted in holding the porridge at the bedside.
After locking eyes for a few minutes, Su Nuo suddenly backed down and silently comforted himself not to be too aggressive. He planned to put the bowl down, but the little dog suddenly looked away and lowered its head to quietly lap up the porridge in the bowl.
Su Nuo was taken aback. Then, inexplicably cheerful, he exclaimed, "Ah...so you don't like dog food. You don't know how expensive it is. If you eat with me, we can save a lot of money."
The little dog didn't respond, but Su Nuo wasn't expecting it to. He also didn't expect it to let down its guard after just one meal, but he figured that after eating the food he gave it for a while, it would eventually stop being so cautious around him.
Su Nuo leaned back against the wall and sat on the ground, holding the bowl up with both hands and looking up at the dog with bright, shining eyes.
Living alone for so long, he was overwhelmed by the sudden feeling of having a companion. It was confusing, but more than anything, it was joy and satisfaction. The little dog had unexpectedly barged into his black-and-white, lonely life and forcefully taken hold of every one of his heartstrings.
The small dog, who had been hurt before, was wary of the world and didn't want to trust humans. It was suspicious of any warmth it received, not because it liked being alone, but because it was afraid of being hurt.
Su Nuo's eyelashes trembled and the light in his eyes faded a bit. He stared at the little black dog, who was quietly drinking its porridge, not sure if he was looking at it or through it at himself.
"Woof." A low, hoarse voice interrupted his thoughts. The little dog lifted its head from the bowl and looked deeply into his eyes.
Su Nuo snapped out of it and realized that the dog had already finished eating. He looked at the empty bowl, then at the dog, and belatedly tossed the bowl into the trash like a precious treasure.
Feeling down, he sat motionless in his spot like a ghost. He didn't know how long he sat there before suddenly sneezing and realizing he was still sitting on the ground.
The ground was a bit cold. Su Nuo shook himself and tried to sit up on the bed. His eyes unintentionally swept over to the side of the bed and he saw the little black dog lift its head and glance over at him.
Su Nuo was startled and blinked his eyes. He felt like he had seen concern from the big eyes looking back at him.
Suddenly his heart felt warm, a warm current starting from his heart and flowing through his whole body like soaking in a warm spring. His previously cold body was now warm and enveloped in a cozy feeling.
In just a moment, his melancholy mood had cleared up and his almond-shaped eyes curved into a smile.
Wait! He wasn't alone anymore. No matter where he was, he had this little creature waiting for him, and it was no longer an empty lifeless room, but a home.
Their home together.
Su Nuo couldn't suppress his overflowing joy and stood up, leaned over and lightly kissed the furry head of the little black dog. After the kiss, he ran away playfully, keeping a safe distance from it.
He missed the little black dog's momentary stiffness.
It was a rare holiday, and Su Nuo was lazing around in bed for the first time without going to the training room early.
When Su Nuo woke up, he saw the little dog next to him, who appeared to have been awake for a long time. Suddenly, an important thought came to his mind. He had not yet named the dog!
Excitedly, Su Nuo propped himself up and faced the little dog, saying, "Let me give you a name!"
But as soon as he said that, he was stumped. He sat on the bed, wracking his brains. Little Black? Too common. Blacky? No, someone might think he's crazy when he calls it that. Su Nuo shook his head, not satisfied with the several names he thought of. He scratched his head in distress.
A black little dog... hmm... Suddenly, he seemed to have solved a centuries-old problem and joyfully twisted his body out of the covers.
"Ah!... let's call you MoMo, do you like this name?"
The young boy's slender, milky-white arm stretched out from under the covers. His messy head rested on his hands, and his two evenly proportioned, white and smooth legs, which were exposed from under his loose black pants, were shining brightly outside like soft, jade-like legs.
He seemed to be pleased with his own name and couldn't help but tilt his head and smile sweetly, using his fingers to count like he was doing arithmetic. His clear, bright eyes were full of starlight. "See, you don't like to talk and you're all dressed in black fur. 'MoMo' is just right, it's a pun."
Su Nuo's voice was very pleasant, with a clear and gentle tone like a little girl's. He was fair and delicate, like a piece of translucent glass. Although he didn't like to smile in public, he actually looked very handsome when he did, to the point where it was as if "when he smiled, the world became monochromatic..."
Gu Chen's heartstrings were stirred and he inexplicably softened by three points.
This non-threatening appearance encouraged Su Nuo, who was extremely bold and stretched out his little paw to shake it from side to side. "MoMo~ our performance yesterday was very successful. The teacher said we sang very well. The last performance was different from the previous ones. The stage was big and dazzling. It was my first time singing on such a big stage..."
When it came to singing, the starlight in the young boy's eyes suddenly shone like a galaxy.
The warm and cozy atmosphere in the small room was filled with the warmth of the heating. Although he was clearly talking to himself and there was no one to answer him, he felt like he wasn't alone.
It was because the little dog across from him kept its gaze on him, making it seem like it was listening attentively.
Gu Chen stared at the young boy, his eyes deep and filled with an indescribable tenderness from the depths of the darkness.
He couldn't tell if it was because the young boy had saved him and he had a latent fondness for him, or... that kiss that he didn't reject, or perhaps it was just the warm atmosphere that gave him a sense of ease and peace that he had never experienced before.
The young boy's lively smile was full of rich and captivating vitality, and a moving melody flowed from his tender lips as they touched each other.
Each beat resounded clearly within his heart, leaving an indelible mark.
Gu Chen felt very clearly that something had changed at that moment...
This change made him reflexively want to look away, but he didn't want to break free, and couldn't help but let himself go deeper and deeper.
