Chapter 25

As there was no traffic on the road, they arrived at the TV station building where the program was being filmed with over an hour to spare before filming began. 

Many staff had already arrived when they got there, including assistants and bodyguards, who were all wondering who Su Nuo was. They racked their brains trying to remember which of today's guests he was, but couldn't seem to match him to any of them.

However, although the staff didn't know Su Nuo, they all knew Qiao Wenshan. 

As soon as they got off the elevator, someone came up to them and started chatting amiably, leading them towards the backstage dressing room. Qiao Wenshan walked along, politely exchanging pleasantries with people as he went.

"The TV station doesn't have a dedicated rest area on this floor, so we have to share the dressing room with others," Qiao Wenshan whispered as they walked.

Su Nuo didn't mind this at all. Although Gu Chen thought he was delicate and easily flustered, Su Nuo wasn't that fragile. Having a dressing room was already a great convenience to him, so he just shook his head and said, "It's fine."

The staff opened the dressing room door and Su Nuo walked in, immediately spotting Lin Xiaotian and making his way over to where he was sitting.

The TV station's dressing room was quite large and generally used by many people at the same time. By now, the room was already full of people, with several makeup artists busy applying makeup in waves. The remaining male guests who hadn't had their turn yet were sitting next to them, looking at their phones.

Su Nuo's arrival was like a disruption to the stability that had previously been maintained in the room. Suddenly, it became as restless as a surging tide. Although Su Nuo had already cleared his name from the recent scandal, everyone thought that he would still look worn-out and devastated, trying to ingratiate himself with others and grabbing as much screen time as possible.

But to everyone's surprise, Su Nuo seemed even more handsome than before. With his early bedtime and early rising routine and the nutritious meals carefully prepared by the butler, Su Nuo had become even more refined. 

His white, jade-like face stood out in the crowd, and he looked like a lotus blossoming from a clear and translucent pool, breathtakingly beautiful.

He walked in surrounded by an adoring entourage like the moon being held by a group of people, with a tall white bodyguard leading the way. Two assistants were by his side, followed by a group of studio stylists who trailed behind him, stepping cautiously. The scene left the boys, who had never seen anything like it, dumbfounded. Even Song Jianing, who was rumored to have a powerful backer, had never experienced such a spectacle!

Lin Xiatian's agent saw the company's famous senior and eagerly circled around Qiao Wenshan. Qiao Wenshan also gave face to the junior and greeted Lin Xiatian's agent when he greeted the host in passing.

Finally, when the makeup artist left, Lin Xiatian immediately slid his chair over to sit next to Su Nuo.

"Where did all these people come from? And the bodyguard, is he from the company?" Lin Xiatian quietly bumped his arm and pointed to the stylist who had just finished applying makeup and was now tidying up his things.

Su Nuo took the water handed over by the new young assistant and shook his head helplessly, "It's the guy who helped me that time."

Originally, the arrangement was even more exaggerated than this. Last night, he protested to Gu Chen on the phone, and only then did he agree to withdraw the other bodyguards and have them follow from a distance. This allowed those who followed from the Gu Mansion to stay downstairs.

"The person who helped you contact Kerry?" Lin Xiatian looked at the white bodyguard who had been guarding Su Nuo all the time and felt a bit uneasy. This bodyguard was definitely not from the security company, and every move he made was somewhat similar to those around the Lin family's old man. The imposing manner he exuded was definitely the kind of person who had seen blood.

Su Nuo took a sip of water and nodded lightly.

Lin Xiatian was worried that Su Nuo had gotten involved with someone he couldn't afford to offend, but he didn't dare to ask too much because he was afraid that if he thought too much, Su Nuo would think that he was dirty-minded.

They arrived at the backstage waiting area 20 minutes before the start of the shoot. This episode was themed around friendship, and they were all dressed in blue and white middle school uniforms. A group of handsome middle school students of different types stood backstage, looking very eye-catching.

As the time approached, the live audience below had already brought their small stools and sat down. The director asked the hosts to prepare, and the recording officially began.

Two of the four hosts were the older brother and older sister of the station and were familiar with hosting variety shows. They danced an opening dance that mixed old-fashioned disco with modern pop music, which heated up the atmosphere. After that, they deliberately didn't mention the guest of honor for tonight, which made the fans below shout out his name in frustration before they pretended to have just thought of introducing him.

"I heard that a group of energetic young guys came to our station today. I was moved to tears on the spot. Finally, after waiting for so long, our director has saved enough money to invite ten handsome guys. " After the female host Zhao Qian finished speaking, screams erupted from the audience, making the roof of the building shake.

"It seems like our audience can't wait any longer. They must want us to shut up quickly. Since they don't want to see us anymore, then... let's chat for another ten minutes," said the male host Wang Yu with a serious tone, diverting the topic and making the audience protest loudly.

Seeing the reaction, Zhao Qian couldn't help but laugh, "It looks like everyone is refusing. Alright then, let's welcome our guests for today - the ten popular contestants from the hit show 'Tomorrow's Superstar'!"

The ten people introduced themselves on stage according to their online rankings. The hosts picked a few with more topics to showcase their talents. The screams from the audience were constant, with Su Nuo receiving the loudest cheers. Before he even spoke, his fans were already excitedly screaming because of his face, which was even more handsome than his photos. Compared to him, even the number one contestant, Song Jianing, seemed to have fallen behind.

After a few highlights, they moved on to the next segment. The hosts randomly divided them into two groups for a competition. The losing team had to accept a scary punishment from the mystery box. 

The next few segments were all fun mini-games, clearly explained with rules that everyone understood. 

Su Nuo seemed to be enjoying himself, winning the first round of stealing chairs for his team. The fourth round was a tie in the song relay, and after five rounds of games, both teams ended up with the same score.

The director thought that this episode lacked some highlights, so he came up with an additional plan that wasn't in the script as a bonus round. This surprised everyone, as the program suddenly played a big game.
