He is so Spoiled 16

 Chapter 16

The gray-white dawn gradually turned crimson, and the morning light slowly passed through the curtain.

All was quiet, and the soft morning light penetrated through the balcony, dyeing the translucent light curtains with a dark golden color, gently spreading a layer of pale golden light inside the room.

Gu Chen leaned forward and lowered his head, sitting in front of the bed with his arms supporting on his knees, holding the soft hand of the young boy lying flat on the bed. His slender and fair fingers made the delicate and small hand in his palm look even more exquisite.

In the man's concealed and sharp eyes, a clear warmth could be seen.

He rubbed the smooth and tender skin on the young boy's palm, gently rubbing the shallow lines on his finger pads. The room was very quiet, only the light and peaceful sound of breathing could be heard.

The housekeeper, Aeriel, knocked on the door and walked in without squinting, standing behind the man and speaking softly, "Young master, Assistant Qin and Assistant Benson have arrived and are waiting in the hall."

Gu Chen didn't move his gaze and nodded, without speaking or showing any intention to move.

Aeriel bowed slightly to the man beside the bed, then turned around and retreated, gently closing the door behind him.

The sunshine was soft and warm, pouring in.

The boy's long eyelashes cast a curved shadow on his eyelids, quivering slightly like a butterfly flapping its wings, slowly opening. His nerves and senses slowly recovered. The wound on his palm began to throb with a slight ache.

Su Nuo stared blankly with his big eyes, still looking a little dazed. The ceiling before him was not the familiar white one. Under the faint yellow halo, there was a gorgeous and beautiful crystal chandelier, deep gray velvet sheets, dark brown European pure wool carpets...and by the bed, a tall and noble stranger sat on the dark red carved chair.

He leisurely crossed his legs, relaxed and casual, but seemed like a born king, sitting on his supreme throne, exuding an unshakable firmness and an oppressive gaze. This was a man who could make people feel awe and obedience at a glance.

Su Nuo instantly tensed up, and his face turned pale. His brain had not reacted yet, but his body had already reacted first, quickly moving back with his elbows supporting his body to open up some distance.

His right hand withdrew uncontrollably from the man's hand. Su Nuo looked at the man fearfully, both surprised and scared.

"Baby." Gu Chen raised his hands high, spoke softly, and stared at him with a pair of focused and gentle eyes, coaxing in a warm voice, "Don't be afraid, it's me, it's MoMo, I'm your MoMo."

Su Nuo didn't grasp the main point at all, and only heard the two words "MoMo".

He opened his eyes wide and suddenly recalled the memory. He saw himself falling to the ground last night and heard the loud noise next to him. The scorching liquid splashed on his cheek.

He felt uneasy in his heart.

Su Nuo slowly moved to the foot of the bed, his eyes alert as he looked at the man, stealing a glance at the door from the corner of his eye.

The man sat still in the chair.

Su Nuo took a deep breath, counted silently in his heart for three seconds, and suddenly jumped off the bed, barefoot, and ran outside, as if there were venomous snakes and beasts behind him.

However, he had only taken a few steps when a large hand reached out from behind and grabbed him tightly around the waist, pulling him into their embrace. His back was pressed firmly against an extremely hard chest.

Su Nuo couldn't help it anymore and screamed in despair, struggling desperately to escape.

"Baby, baby, it's okay, don't be afraid..." the man lowered his voice to soothe and coax him, holding the young boy as carefully as possible.

He tried to control the strength of his grip, afraid of hurting him, while also worrying that he might struggle too violently and reopen the wound that had just been bandaged.

Gu Chen quickly returned to the bedside, grabbing the struggling person who was scared out of his wits and placing him gently on the soft bedsheet.

Worried that he might injure himself by moving around too much, he used one hand to hold down his flailing legs and the other to grip his wrist tightly.

With Su Nuo's face pressed against the bed, the only thing he could do to resist was to kick his legs, but since there was no leverage, he could only make a little effort. However, he refused to give up and struggled desperately, biting his teeth and using all his strength to push, hit, and lift with his free hand, ignoring the pain in his injured hand.

Despite all his efforts, he found that the man remained unmoved and unshaken. The strength in his knees was the same; it felt as though the man was just lightly holding him down, but he couldn't move a muscle no matter how hard he tried.

The two of them were not at the same weight level in terms of physical strength.

Gu Chen didn't bother dodging despite being hit repeatedly by the other person. He just looked at the young man, who was scared out of his wits, and felt a pang of pain in his heart. He wanted to rub the young man's head to comfort him, and also wanted to kiss the young man's slightly reddened eyes and tell him not to be afraid.

Su Nuo wanted nothing more than to die together with Gu Chen, but suddenly heard a somewhat hoarse voice, speaking with extreme tenderness: "You're afraid that I'll be lonely. You always make time to be with me during the day, and secretly practice alone at night. You're afraid that I'll be hungry, so you save chicken legs and bring them back to me. You said that you love standing on stage the most because you shine like a star. You said that you want to see the stars in a small town in New Zealand, and when you save enough money, you'll take me there with you. You said that I'm black, quiet, and don't talk much, so you named me 'MoMo'. You said that I'm your only family member, and nothing is more important than me...you rescued me from the darkness, gave me warmth, and taught me love."

Gu Chen put the young man's hand on his own warm and beating heart, looking into his eyes as if he wanted to take his heart out and give it to him.

"Baby, do you remember me?"

Su Nuo seemed frozen in place.

His thoughts stopped, and countless images flashed through his mind. They were memories that belonged only to him and MoMo.

"MoMo, do you like this name?"

"MoMo, I'll have enough money soon, and then we can go to Takapo Town to see the stars together."

"MoMo, don't be afraid. I won't let anyone hurt you again. I'm your family, and I'll protect you well."

...

Suo Nuo stared at him blankly, his heart pounding in his palm with a "thump thump" rhythm. The black eyes before him were focused and affectionate, with only his figure reflected in the pupil.

It was only then that Suo Nuo could clearly see those eyes. Suddenly, his mind exploded with a buzz, feeling both strange and familiar. These were clearly two different pairs of eyes, yet they both showed the same focus and affection.

Countless questions flooded Suo Nuo's mind, making him feel absurd and ridiculous. How could he be MoMo? But his heart was pounding erratically nonetheless, defying his rational questioning.

These things could only be known by MoMo, and only in MoMo's eyes could he see that expression. Suo Nuo's fingers twitched slightly, calling out incredulously, "MoMo?" The sound was barely audible.

At this, Gu Chen's lips curved upward, his eyes focused intently on Suo Nuo. He answered softly, "Baby, I'm here."

Suo Nuo stared at him closely. Gu Chen released his hold on the boy's body, stood up, and helped him sit down. He then carefully held Suo Nuo's left hand and examined the wound, relieved to see that there was no more bleeding.

"I can't explain why I became that dog, whether it was due to the exchange of information in a random biological magnetic field or a displacement of conscious energy... until I discovered the distortion in time. I explain it as a retrospective of time, or more accurately, a retrospective of thought."

Gu Chen half-knelt in front of Suo Nuo and touched his bare feet, which had become slightly cool from running barefoot off the bed.

Pulling his clothes open, he clasped his hands and held them in his arms.

"I speculate that maybe MoMo is gone and this retrospective will also disappear. 'I' will return to the present, but I dare not try. I am afraid that once I return, I will forget you, forget our memories together. Even more so, I'm afraid that all of this is just my own dream from beginning to end. When I wake up, there will be no home, no you. If you're gone, what's the point of my existence..."

His voice trembled slightly with bitterness, causing Su Nuo's heart to feel as if it had been pricked by a needle. He blinked and extended his hand, softly placing it on the man's head who was kneeling in front of him. As he had comforted MoMo before, he gently stroked his head.

Gu Chen suddenly stiffened, unable to contain his excitement in his eyes.

Su Nuo extended his hand, gently touching his eyebrows, eyes, nose, and lips, inch by inch.

Such eyes, such an expression, who else could it be but MoMo?

The one and only person who held all his attachments.

How could he not recognize him?

The man gradually relaxed his body, even leaning forward slightly to make it easier for the young man to touch him.

Su Nuo repeatedly confirmed his identity through his touch, as if to remember his current appearance.

Slowly, he smiled, and kissed the man's forehead.

Looking up and meeting the man's gentle and drowning gaze, he softly smiled and said, "I recognize you, MoMo."
